History of WiggleBums
Where did WiggleBums come from?
WiggleBums came about from two extraordinary Mompreneurs and long time friends Myself (Leanne) and Amanda. Amanda brought an easy fit cloth diaper to me and proposed a partnership, selling these amazing cloth diapers as a home business between friends. Amanda had tried and used the Bummis brand and found it had little to no problems compared to some of the other brands that were out there. We determined that Oshawa and Durham was seriously lacking in the cloth diaper department, as such now was the perfect time to bring these diapers and our business to the fore front. My husband James believed that this was a brilliant idea and began the arduous process of working for his loving wife.
Amanda has since been busy with supporting her family and has stepped aside, leaving me here to take the reigns and strive to make WiggleBums into the premier cloth diaper retail spot for every cloth diaper mom. With the help of many customers I have found products they are all wanting and brought them in, and now we have 14 different product lines. Not to fear though we have not gone away from our personal hands on approach to teaching and helping the new and experienced cloth diapering mothers.
We now have had customers from Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough, Lindsey, Newcastle, Orono, Whitby, Port Hope, Cobourg, Toronto, Scarborough, Ajax, Pickering, our name has spread Canada and North America wide hitting PEI, Vancouver and even the states! We thank all our customers and want them to know we will continue to support them no matter how far they are. Here at WiggleBums we don't just focus our efforts on our products, we are also concerned with your problems and helping you solve them. There have been several new cloth diaper retailers spring up in Durham since WiggleBums came out, one even by our first customer. I knew none of them could match the determination and knowledge that I could bring, and thus WiggleBums has continued on through the competition. When customers come back to us again and again It only makes me believe that both my knowledge and skill as a cloth diapering Mommy, along with my belief that customer service and family life should never be compromised, makes moms of all kinds feel secure in coming to WiggleBums for everything they need over our competition.
Sales and Deals
We run sales and deals whenever we can, but we want our customers to have the knowledge of what and where their dollar is going. You may find that there are other sites offering many deals or savings that we do not, we do our best to match them and sometimes beat them. However this is not always possible, as we think that it is important to do a few things that these others do not. The money you spend at WiggleBums goes to keep our shelves stocked to allow you fast and easy pick up or delivery, it also goes to providing you with the ability to use Interac and credit cards without using paypal, advertising costs too keep our name out in the public's eye and help to promote the idea of cloth diapering children. There are many other upkeep costs to running a home business and each of these eats into the little profit that we see.
